Audiences across the country were treated to another spectacular night as Children In Need's Appeal Show returned to the BBC on Friday (November 14).
This marked a triumphant end to this year's fundraising efforts, with huge names like Mel Giedroyc, Rochelle Humes, Vernon Kay, Paddy McGuinness, Lenny Rush and Big Zuu hosting the event.
However, alongside the "dazzling" line-up of celebrities, the programme was able to highlight the real challenges facing children and young people across the UK.
The show started with a Mini Apprentice sketch, where the daunting Lord Sugar was grilled by a pair of small entrepreneurs on everything from 'saltiness' to business regrets.
As part of the Challenge Squad, four inspirational young people were spurred on by Alex Jones, Roman Kemp and Sara Cox to undertake incredible personal challenges.
17-year-old Eloise captivated audiences with an awe-inspiring musical medley alongside the cast of Starlight Express, while 18-year-old Kat delivered a duet with Sam Ryder.
Other extraordinary Children In Need moments included a performance from Lewis Capaldi and McFly's Tom Fletcher alongside his 11-year-old son, Buzz, for the first time ever on TV.
According to Children In Need, the Appeal Show was able to raise an impressive £45.5 million for children and young people across the UK.
This comes as organisers celebrate the 45th anniversary of the Appeal Show.
£2,153,614 of this sum came from the inspiring young people collaborating with the Challenge Squad.
A further £9,726,153 came from BBC Radio 2, with Sara Cox's Great Northern Marathon Challenge making up much of this.
This saw her run, jog, and walk across sweeping moorlands, steep ridges, and the rolling hills of Northumberland, Durham, North Yorkshire and West Yorkshire while carrying a very special Pudsey Bear backpack.
Joe Wicks, Strictly professionals and Gladiator Steel also celebrated the amazing schools across the country who raised over £3 million.
For those who love animation and musicals, there was even a special SpongeBob and a Wicked surprise.
