BBC Emmerdale's Amy Walsh reveals baby news with husband and daughter in sweet video - Daily Record

Emmerdale's Amy Walsh has revealed she's expecting her second child in an adorable social media announcement. The actress famed for her role as Tracy Robinson on the BBC soap, is married to a familiar face.

She tied the knot with actor and former EastEnders baddie, Toby-Alexander Smith, in September 2023. The couple exchanged vows in in Montenegro surrounded by loved ones, after getting engaged in August 2022.

They are also parents to a daughter, Bonnie, born in December 2021. On Tuesday, September 9, Amy and Toby shared the happy news that their little girl was about to become a big sister confirming their pregnancy joy.

Amy took to Instagram to share a monochrome video set to Nick Drake's 'Northern Sky'. In the footage, she can be heard telling Bonnie: "Mummy and daddy have got a special secret to tell you."

She continued: "Mummy has got a baby in her tummy. A baby sister or brother for you," as the video displayed Amy, Toby, and Bonnie's hands revealing a scan image of the baby.

Amy captioned the post: "Smith/Walsh baby 2.0 incoming 2026," and the well-wishes quickly started pouring in.

Emmerdale colleague Isabel Hodgins, who is also expecting her first child, commented: "Gorgeous! So happy for you." Meanwhile, Michelle Hardwick wrote: "So exciting," and Samantha Giles expressed: "So excited the news is finally out."

Eden Taylor-Draper responded with crying face emojis, commenting: "amazing news."

Coronation Street's Sair Khan chimed in with: "Massive congratulations to you both." Ex-EastEnders actor Danny Walters expressed his joy, writing: "Great news".

Amy's sister, Girls Aloud's Kimberley Walsh, reacted to the heartwarming post with a string of five crying-face emojis. Gogglebox's Izzi Warner also added her well wishes: "Congratulations to you all."

Amy and Toby, known for his role as Gray Atkins on EastEnders, welcomed their first child at the close of 2021 after a dramatic pregnancy and birth. Amy went through 20 hours of labour after her waters broke on Boxing Day.

Recounting the experience, Amy later shared with OK! magazine: "I had to have an epidural as the pain was so strong. The epidural eventually kicked in a bit and then I was on gas and air, and I was laughing... We've got a video of me going, 'Just make me a cocktail!' I felt drunk - I loved it!"
