The refurb has ensured that the pub's heritage blends seamlessly with the modern updates, evident by the timber detailing and embossed leather seating.

Ornate glass, brass light pendants, and deep hues of greens, blues, and gold further add to the new ambiance.

The exterior of the establishment has also been subject to alterations.

The river terrace now boasts new seating, nestled in a landscaped garden furnished with plantings and archways.

There are two heated garden huts furnished with plush seating.

Groups of up to 25 people can enjoy the huts standing, offering a pleasant outdoor experience.

The Swan's upgrade extends to its dining experience.

With an emphasis on quality, the menu will showcase seasonal produce.

Provenance is at the heart of the menu, with beef sourced from the West Country, venison from Oxfordshire, and mussels delivered fresh from the Cornish coast in Fowey.

The new menu offers a wide range of delectable options for the patrons.

Small plate selections include ox cheek croquettes, sausage rolls, and different variations of Scotch egg.

The main courses comprise venison Wellington, braised beef shin shortcrust pie, and heritage squash gnocchi.

Some of the sides you can expect to taste are truffled mashed potatoes, red onion bhajis, and Crab and 'nduja mac & cheese.

For guests who enjoy sharing, connoisseur plates like confit garlic and rosemary Camembert with ciabatta, and ox cheek nachos are available.

The Swan's commitment to providing freshly cooked Sunday roasts remains.

The pub will continue serving perfectly cooked cuts, from beef to chicken, paired with Yorkshire puddings, an abundance of roasties, seasonal vegetables, and rich gravy.

The drinks menu includes a selection of casks, IPAs and pale ales, and a collection of wines from around the world.

There is a range of cocktails with a wintery twist.

These include Sour Cherry Cuba Libre, Maple Old Fashioned, and Cherry Bakewell Martini made of amaretto, cranberry, pineapple, and Montzi Sour Cherry Aperitivo.

The Swan is also ready for the festive season.

With a three-course Christmas party menu available across December for £39 per person, intended for group bookings to be enjoyed in the pub's two private dining rooms.

On Christmas Day, the pub invites patrons to enjoy a three-course meal comprising a Crown of English turkey and Gressingham duck Wellington from £95 per person.

The Swan, now open seven days a week, is aiming to be more than just a dining destination and as a community hub.

The venue will offer an action-packed calendar of events like quizzes, brunch with Santa, wreath-making with local creator Sarah Parker, and Christmas carols.
