Ranveer Singh's new film Dhurandhar has set a significant box office record within its first four days of release, surpassing the lifetime net earnings of the actor's earlier hit Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela. The action drama, directed by Aditya Dhar and inspired by true events, opened on December 5 and quickly drew large audiences, demonstrating strong momentum despite the typical weekday drop. The film's rapid rise in collections marks a noteworthy achievement for the cast and crew, with industry analysts tracking its continued performance closely.
The movie, featuring Ranveer Singh alongside Sara Arjun, Arjun Rampal, and Akshaye Khanna, posted a robust opening of Rs 28 crore on its first day, followed by Rs 32 crore on Saturday and Rs 43 crore on Sunday. Despite a dip to Rs 23 crore on Monday, Dhurandhar maintained a strong presence at the box office, reaching a net total of Rs 126 crore after four days. This figure eclipses the Rs 117.53 crore net lifetime collection of Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, previously regarded as one of Singh's major successes.
Dhurandhar has also outperformed several recent releases, securing the position of the highest opener of Ranveer Singh's career and the second-highest film opening of 2025, behind only Chhaava starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna. The film's success places it at number six among Singh's top-grossing films to date.
The film's opening weekend outperformed the romantic title Tere Ishk Mein, which reached a net collection of Rs 99.75 crore after a week in theatres. Despite competition, Dhurandhar managed to surpass the collections of other major releases within its first three days.
