Baseer Ali On His Journey In Bigg Boss 19: 'There Was Absolutely No Guidance Given To Me'

Baseer Ali On His Journey In Bigg Boss 19: 'There Was Absolutely No Guidance Given To Me'

Bigg Boss 19 witnessed yet another double elimination during the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode. This time, Nehal Chudasama and Baseer Ali bid farewell to the show. Interestingly, Nehal had earlier been evicted, only to return after spending time in the secret room. However, this time, both Nehal and Baseer, two of the most popular contestants, saw their journeys on the Salman Khan-hosted show come to an emotional end, leaving fans and housemates teary-eyed.

While audiences eagerly await to hear from the evicted contestants about their experience and emotions, Baseer expressed his gratitude for his journey so far while speaking to the media after his eviction.

During a media interaction, when asked how he felt about his eviction, he said, "Whether it's the first week or the ninth, the fact that I made it this far is what truly matters. For a guy who came all the way from Hyderabad, reaching here itself is a big achievement."

In another interview with Screen, the former contestant shared that his time on Bigg Boss 19 was an incredible learning experience. He mentioned that his previous appearances on other reality shows had taught him acceptance, which helped him come to terms with his eviction.

Baseer said, "I have learnt the art of acceptance due to the experience from the reality shows I have been a part of. Bigg Boss has taught me a lot. When I got evicted, I was in disbelief for a fraction of a second. The day I was evicted, when I woke up, the house where I spent 63 days felt different. I took it as a sign from God. When I was evicted, I just walked out with a smile."

Baseer Ali Opens Up About The Bias And Unfair Show's Process

In the same conversation, Baseer also voiced his disappointment with how the show dealt with the sensitive remarks made by fellow contestant Malti Chahar regarding his sexuality.

"What was Bigg Boss doing about it? It was said on camera, and the clip came out from the Bigg Boss team. What did Salman Khan sir or the makers do about it? Did they not want to address it? Is that fair to me?" he asked.

Baseer further alleged that he was singled out for calling the contestants' quality "shit," while similar or more offensive remarks made by others were ignored.

"When I called the contestant quality shit, it was made into a big issue. Farah Khan blasted me for it, and I was looking like the bad guy then. Gaurav had made a comment to Amaal that you come from such a reputed family. Pointing towards me, he said, 'Yeh log toh aise hai, don't we come from good families?' Nobody addressed these situations. It is very evident they don't want to address these things as it worked for them," he added.

He also criticised the production team, claiming they failed to provide him with proper guidance or support during his time on the show.

He said, "Also, there was absolutely no guidance given to me. It is unfair on the part of the makers to discard everything that was negatively said about me."
