Nixa and De Smet will meet in the Missouri high school football Class 6 state championship.
The Class 6 MSHSAA Show-Me Bowl will occur on Friday at 7 p.m. at Faurot Field at Memorial Stadium on the University of Missouri campus in Columbia.
Nixa (13-0) is making its second state championship appearance in program history, finishing second in 2014. The Eagles won 56-46 last week against Kirkwood in a state semifinal. They are led by five-star junior offensive lineman Jackson Cantwell, the No. 1 overall recruit in the 2026 class.
De Smet (11-2) is making its fifth championship appearance and first since 2020. The Spartans finished as runners-up in 2020 after winning the Class 6 title the year before. They are led by Kansas State quarterback commit Dillon Duff and four-star junior edge rusher Titan Davis.

Nixa and De Smet will play in the Class 6 state championship on Friday, Dec. 6, 2024, at 7 p.m. in Columbia, Missouri.
