You can watch NFL RedZone Week 6 streaming free today with promo trial offers

Many football fans are scrambling to find out how to watch NFL RedZone for free this week with Streameast, Methstreams, Crackstreams and so many other free live sports streaming websites now shut down for good. If you don't have cable, and need a way you can watch NFL RedZone streaming free today, try some free trial promos you can use starting at kickoff on Sunday, October 12 at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET (12 p.m. CT).

* You can watch Week 6 of NFL Red Zone streaming free with DirecTV (free trial) or with Fubo (free trial). You can also watch with Sling if you are out of free trials (costs just $5 for a streaming day pass).

Currently, Fubo and Sling and DirecTV are the best major streaming services that carry NFL RedZone, especially for fans in the Pacific Northwest. All of these platforms offer either a free trial, or promotional discounts, for new signups.

No. 1 -- Sling TV Blue package ($57/month total cost with the "Sports Extra" package that includes NFL RedZone and more)

It doesn't have a free trial today, but Sling makes the list as the No. 1 option for watching NFL RedZone this season because it is the cheapest way to watch the NFL RedZone channel and other more live sports, though they have two plans that split up the major sports channels that can be hard on any fan that needs access to all of them. NFL RedZone is only included in the Sports Extra package when purchased alongside the "Blue" plan ($45.99/month), which is a $11 add on for a total cost of $57/month. You can also supplement your Sling plan with an over-the-air HDTV antenna for your TV that will give you full NFL games being broadcast locally in your area from CBS, FOX and NBC.

No. 2 -- Fubo (free trial, then $96/month with the $11/month additional "Sports Plus" package to add NFL RedZone)

Not only does Fubo have NFL RedZone as an option, they carry most of the channels that would feature nationally televised NFL football games (like FOX, NBC, and CBS as well as local ABC affiliates and ESPN networks). The only major sports channels they don't have at the moment are Turner affiliates like TNT, TBS and others. While the total monthly cost comes to $96/month for the package that includes NFL RedZone, Fubo allows you to have at least two concurrent viewers. This means you can buy the service and share your login with a friend or family member to share the monthly cost and really save some money.

No. 3 -- DirecTV (free trial, then $100/month total cost when you add the $15/month additional "Sports Pack" to get NFL RedZone)

DirecTV is slightly more expensive than Fubo, depending on your location or the plan you choose, but it does have a free trial. You can give this a go if you want to try it out this week and compare it to Fubo or Sling before you commit long term.

Honorable mention: YouTube TV and Hulu + Live are also good options for streaming sports overall, and both feature subscription plans that include NFL RedZone. However, they are not the best options for fans in the Pacific Northwest sports fans as neither of those services carry ROOT Sports, both of which carry most local broadcasts for the region's pro sports and college teams.

If you just want NFL RedZone on your TV or phone each week, you can buy a cheap subscription plan to NFL+ Premium that will let you watch NFL RedZone for just $14.99/month through the NFL app, which we also wrote a separate story about today with more detailed information.

If you don't already have one, another way to watch a few games for free this season -- including every Sunday Night Football game -- is by purchasing an HD antennae. An HD antennae will get you those Sunday night games and will also get you any games being broadcast on Sunday in your local market on both the local CBS and FOX channels.

If you need to get one now, a solid and well-rated HDTV antenna can be purchased for around $20 on Amazon and it ships quickly with Prime. If you don't have a membership already, sign up for a Prime free trial.

That's right! If you have an Amazon Prime membership, or if you want to to sign up for one, you can watch most of the NFL's Thursday Night Football games for free on your mobile device, computer or even on your TV. Here's the complete schedule for the 2024-25 NFL season.

If you don't have cable and don't want to buy a paid live TV streaming service like the ones described above, there is another option to get at least two Sunday games for free this week, and then keep watching them on the cheap going forward. Paramount Plus, the CBS on demand streaming service, offers a few live channels to watch through the app as well as tons of on demand content like movies, TV shows and more. Those live channels include your local CBS affiliate, which almost always has a morning and afternoon game broadcast live nationally. If you want to try it out, Paramount+ is offering a free trial, and then the service is $7.99/month after that (Or $12.99/month to go ad-free and get Showtime). You can cancel after the free trial at no cost if you feel like the service doesn't work for you. Here's a look at the upcoming NFL games CBS will have live each week of the season.
