Manitoba health officials are reporting two more measles cases.

The numbers as of Nov. 8 have risen to 249 confirmed cases of the highly contagious disease as of Friday's weekly update, with 16 probable cases.

The province also announced a new measles exposure site in Portage la Prairie in an update Thursday.

Hospitalization numbers in Manitoba have held steady at 16, including 13 children under the age of 10. There have been two admissions to intensive care units and no deaths.
