Nico Rosberg demanded Carlos Sainz should face punishment following the Spaniard's clash with Oliver Bearman during the Italian Grand Prix. A chaotic incident at the Monza circuit saw the pair collide at the second chicane whilst battling for track position.
The Haas racer positioned himself on the inside line against the Williams, securing considerable overlap with his vehicle, despite not being ahead at the corner's apex. His front-right tyre then struck Sainz's rear-left wheel, causing both cars to spin dramatically. Neither driver retired from the race, though both failed to secure championship points.
