Who are 2024-25 Press Boys Wrestling All-Stars?

On March 7, 3035, Ocean City's Clifford Dirkes competes for 7th place with Thomas Borgia of West Morris Central at weight 285 during the final day of the boys and girls state tournament at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.

Southern Regional

157 POUNDS

The senior captured the state title in a thrilling ultimate tiebreaker. He won his fourth district title and his third overall Region 7 championship. Stout won Southern's Robin Leff Tournament and helped the Rams win their third straight state Group V title. Stout finished his career with a 140-21 record (38-2 this winter) and as a three-time state place-winner. Stout is committed to the University of Pennsylvania.

Killian Coluccio

Lacey Township

The sophomore won his second straight district and Region 7 title. He placed second in the state after a third-place finish as a freshman. He placed third at the prestigious Escape at the Rock tournament. Coluccio finished 32-2.

The freshman placed second at the District 32 tournament and third at Region 8, qualifying for the state tournament in his first season. He finished 22-10.

Carter Pack

St. Augustine Prep

The senior won his second District 32 title and placed second in the Region 8 tournament. He finished just one match short of placing in the top eight at the state tournament. Pack was sixth at the Robin Leff Tournament. He finished 37-5 and is committed to Long Island University.

JP Bonnette

St. Augustine Prep

The freshman won the District 31 title and placed third at the Region 8 tournament, advancing to the state tournament in his first season. Bonnette finished 17-10.

Chase Hansen

Lower Cape May Regional

The junior won his third district and Region 8 titles, the first Lower wrestler to win three consecutive region championships. Hansen placed fourth at the state tournament, his third time on the podium in Atlantic City, and won his third Art Marinelli Tournament title. Hansen is 133-5 in his career (43-2 this season), seven wins shy of the school record.

St. Augustine Prep

The junior captured his third straight District 32 title and second consecutive Region 8 championship. He placed fourth at the state tournament after a fifth-place finish as a sophomore. He won the Robin Leff Tournament and finished 34-9.

Noah Fontana

Southern Regional

The senior won the District 26 title and placed third at the Region 7 tournament, his first time qualifying for the state tournament. He finished 28-9.

165 POUNDS

Tommy Grimley

Ocean City

The senior captured his second straight district title and first Region 8 championship. He finished just one match shy of placing in the top eight at the state tournament. He placed second at the Robin Leff Tournament and finished 40-3. He will graduate with 112 career wins.

175 POUNDS

Michael Colon

Lacey Township

The junior won the District 26 championship and placed third at Region 7, reaching the state tournament for the first time in his career. He was 18-11 this season.

190 POUNDS

Max Adelizzi

Middle Township

The senior won his first District 29 and Region 8 titles. He was one match short of placing in the top eight at the state tournament. He won the Hammonton Kick-Off and Palmyra Christmas tournament titles. He helped Middle capture its first team sectional title. Adelizzi finished 40-5 and owns Middle's all-time career record (123).

Shaun Watkins

Middle Township

The senior won the District 29 title and placed third at the Region 8 tournament, advancing to the state tournament for the first time. Watkins, who only started wrestling last season, captured the Hammonton Kick-Off, Red Bank and Palmyra Christmas tournament titles. He finished 36-6.

Ocean City

The senior placed second at the District 29 and Region 8 tournaments. Dirkes became the Red Raiders' first state place-winner in two-decades after he placed eighth in Atlantic City. He won the Art Marinelli Tournament title and is committed to wrestle and play football at The College of New Jersey. He went 36-5 this season and finished his career with 106 wins.
