A record shop owner helping to support Jamaica after a devastating hurricane has made the first donation and has further fundraising plans.
Roy Gregory, who runs Clocktower Records on St Michael's Trading Estate, organised a fundraiser in October to help people who had lost everything after Hurricane Melissa swept the island.
As previously reported, it was one of the worst natural disasters to hit Jamaica ever and the death toll has risen to 45, up from 28 following the days after disaster struck.

In an effort to help and restore dignity to people who have lost their homes and livelihoods, staff set up a display of reggae records, with half of all the proceeds being donated to charity.
Mr Gregory has confirmed that their efforts raised £350 in the first week, which has now been donated to BREDS Treasure Beach Foundation.
The hundreds of pounds already raised were a combination of record sales and signed photographs, donated by Bridport based photographer Adrian Boot, to the cause.
The pair previously worked together for the Bridport Art Centre exhibition which displayed Mr Boot's photographs taken in Jamaica.
BREDS is a grassroots organisation that helps improve the lives of people living in the area which was battered by Hurricane Melissa.
Speaking of the money raised so far, Mr Gregory said: "It's been really nice because with all the other news floating around, the hurricane dropped out of the cycle pretty quickly. These things disappear and when you think of the devastation, it's important that people recognise it and support it."

On top current fundraiser, there is now an online auction of some of the signed photos that Mr Boot personally took of Bob Marley, to reach a wider audience and raise more money.
The auction will end at midnight on Sunday, November 30 with the entirety of the sales going to BREDS.
As previously reported, Mr Boot was in Jamaica at the time the hurricane was on route to the island and narrowly escaped before disaster struck.

One of the feature prints that will go to auction, is a signed copy of the famous Bob Marley shot which featured on the front of the Legend album released by Bob Marley and the Wailers in 1984, which was taken by Mr Boot.

The cause has also been very close to Mr Gregory's heart, as Clocktower Records specialises in reggae music and memorabilia.
He said: "Jamaica has a very special place in our hearts here at Clocktower because it gave the world reggae."
