PHOENIX (AZFamily) -- Are you looking to do Something Good and help out a furry friend this holiday season?
You can be a hero by fostering a pet at the Arizona Humane Society, giving them extra love and care outside of the kennel.
The Arizona Humane Society covers all the supplies and medical costs for those taking a furry friend home for the holidays. The first step is to fill out an application, then the humane society will contact you to find the right pet for your home.
If you can't take a pet home for the holidays, why not bring the 'Howl-iday' spirit to them? The Humane Society is offering limited winter workshops where kids ages 5-12 can read their favorite holiday stories to the animals.
The workshop is on Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and it costs $30 for a child and adult. To learn more, click here.
Thank you to everyone working to comfort our four-legged friends this holiday season.
