Make a Splash in These Sculpting Swimsuits Inspired by Jennifer Lopez, Reese Witherspoon, and More Stars

Yes, we're referring to those unsupportive and unsightly swimsuits collecting dust at the back of your drawers. They really need to go, and for good. But we can already hear you asking: If not those, then what do we wear? Swim into summer with swimsuits inspired by Drew Barrymore, Salma Hayek, and more celebrities. They're everything but unsightly, and many have smoothing and sculpting properties to help you feel your very best in what feels like next to nothing.

Three of these are the exact styles Jennifer Lopez, Reese Witherspoon, and (most recently) Mandy Moore repped in their off-time. And, spoiler alert. It turns out that making a splash in style is actually quite affordable -- but you'll have to keep reading to see what we mean!

Okay, so it doesn't seem like Moore wore her Lands' End swimsuit, to, well, swim. In fact, it didn't look like a swimsuit at all. With her jeans and button-up, we mistook it for a bodysuit! But perhaps that's even better, because it means the colorful one-piece is versatile enough to go from the pool to anywhere else in comfort. The neckline can be adjusted to a halter-top or even strapless style, so there's tons of styling potential in it.

If a black one-piece is the only style you'll entertain, you're in good company. Brittany Mahomes, who just welcomed her third baby, sported one on a girls' trip a few weeks ago. And last summer, Witherspoon was spotted beaming on a boat in this now-$84 suit from Andie Swim -- which we also know Mindy Kaling and Demi Moore wear.

It has "compressive fabric for sculpting comfort," per the brand. And, the leg is cut in a way that's not going to be too cheeky on the backside. One shoppers said it's also "flattering," "flirty," and "hugs you in all the right ways"..

Jennifer Lopez wore this plunging white one-piece bathing suit on a mega-yacht in 2024, while Kate Hudson showcased her version just a few weeks ago. Both were on the more revealing side, but what we like about this Gooseberry Intimates one is that it has adjustable straps, so you can raise that V-neck a little bit.

If you prefer bikinis, take a page from Hayek's or Jessica Alba's book. The former just sparkled on the cover of Sports Illustrated in a glittering green two-piece set that looks like this one from Amazon. The latter kept things black and white -- literally -- in a plain triangle top and tie bottoms, a style you can replicate for under $50 at Quince.

Keep scrolling to shop for more celebrity-inspired bathing suits now that summer is officially here.
