State B-C softball schedule changes due to rain in Glasgow

BILLINGS -- A rainstorm that moved through Glasgow Wednesday evening has caused the State B-C softball schedule to be adjusted.

The tourney, which was to begin at 2 p.m. Thursday with a pair of games at Sullivan Park in Glasgow with another pair of contests to follow at 4 p.m., will now begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at Cal Ripken Field in Glasgow.

The two fields at Sullivan Park were left unplayable as of late Wednesday night due to the rainstorm. The decision to move the tournament to Cal Ripken Field was made at approximately 10 p.m. on Wednesday night by tourney officials and the Montana High School Association.

Cal Ripken Field features one field, opposed to the two fields at Sullivan Park. Possibly the tournament could be moved back to Sullivan Park on Friday, but that would depend on field conditions and the weather. According to the weather forecast, there is a chance for more rain in Glasgow on Friday.
