There have been many Disney live-action remakes at this point, but maybe none so anticipated as this year's Lilo & Stitch. The remake of the beloved millennial favorite hits theaters this weekend, starring Maia Kealoha as Lilo in her film debut, Sydney Elizebeth Agudong as older sister Nani, and Chris Sanders as the voice of Stitch. Here's everything we know about how you can watch the movie now and when it might be available on streaming.
Luckily or unluckily for you, depending on how much you like leaving your house, the movie is currently on available in theaters. It's summer blockbuster season, baby! This is a movie that is fun to see with an audience, so it's worth trekking to the theater for. You can buy tickets here:

The movie is expected to make a lot of money, so it will probably stay in theaters for a while. They're not going to put in on streaming while it's still profitable at the theaters. Disney has not confirmed when it will go on streaming, but most Disney moves end up on digital about two months after the initial release. So that would put us at the end of July. That's a long time to wait! Which means it might be worth going to the theater.
Disney+! It is a Disney movie, after all. But because of Disney's bundling, you will probably also be able to watch it on Hulu. Those are just the "included with your subscription" options. You will likely be able to rent or buy the movie elsewhere, like on Prime Video, YouTube, Apple TV, etc. But again, that probably won't happen for a few months.
