Crowds at live shows can be unpredictable, which is something Zach Bryan has learned the hard way. During a July concert in New Orleans, an intrepid fan somehow sneaked past security onstage to meet the "Heading South" hitmaker. During another performance in Boston, Bryan was taken aback when a fan handed their baby to the country singer. And just recently, one concertgoer thought it was a great idea to lob a projectile onto the stage. And the Oklahoma-bred artist, 28, was clearly having none of it.
During Saturday's (Nov. 23) stop in Tacoma, Washington, Zach Bryan grew furious when a fan hurled an object onstage. The "Revival" singer abruptly stopped playing and walked over to pick it up. He then demanded to know who in the crowd was responsible.
"Who threw this? Who was it? Does anyone know?" Bryan repeatedly asked.
"I don't think you want to own that," a voice is heard saying in a fan-captured video of the incident.
"Don't throw s -- at concerts, huh?" the Grammy winner admonished the culprit.
He then added, "And if you guys do know who threw it, we can get them out of here if we ever find out who did it."
Online, some fans criticized Bryan for overreacting. "Dude is losing it," one Instagram user wrote.
Others, however, could see his point. "Idc if you like the guy or not," another user chimed in. "No one deserves to have s -- thrown at them."

This past February, Zach Bryan won his first-ever Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group/Performance with the Kacey Musgraves collab "I Remember Everything." However, there will be no chance of a repeat in 2025, as Bryan opted to withdraw his music from consideration. Sources have said the "Burn, Burn Burn" singer "does not feel comfortable with awards shows making music competitive."
