Four-star offensive tackle Malakai Lee plays high school football for Honolulu (Hawaii) Kamehameha Secondary. revealed his top four schools on Saturday. His top schools are Alabama, Michigan and Texas along with Georgia.
Lee has already visited Georgia twice and most recently he came during spring football game weekend on a visit. He had many things to say about the environment and how Georgia became a top school for him.
"Georgia knocked it out of the park," Lee told On3. "They were so caring for me and my family. The southern hospitality at Georgia was great. Then seeing G-Day was awesome too. I got to see the players work and the coaches coach, then right after the game, coach Searels was already grading the players like a real game, so that was great to see too. Georgia football is going to be Georgia football, especially under coach Smart and it was an overall great experience at Georgia."
Georgia is doing putting their best foot forward with this recruiting battle even offensive line coach Stacy Searles traveling to Hawaii to visit the four-star lineman. After losing out on Jackson Cantwell, Georgia is making sure they do not miss out on premier offensive tackles in this recruiting cycle.
Lee is the second-best recruit in Hawaii. The 6-foot-6, 320-pound offensive tackle is ranked as the No. 139 recruit in the nation and the No. 10 offensive tackle. Lee, who is a member of the class of 2026, is projected to commit to the Michigan Wolverines, per 247Sports.
