Jeff Foxworthy: multitalented Jeff Foxworthy, who fans might remember from hosting "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader" and his own starring role in "The Jeff Foxworthy Show," will arrive in San Diego County for a comedy show tonight. Foxworthy is known for being a member of the Blue Collar Comedy tours and specials. He has several Grammy award nominations, and is an author, actor, writer and radio and television host. Celebration of Black culture: It's two days of celebrating Black culture at the 33rd annual Kuumba Fest. Beach soccer championships: Sand and soccer come together in Oceanside's Harbor Beach for the 2025 Beach Soccer USA Pro Cup. The three-day tournament includes adult pro women's and men's games, along with youth and adult amateur matches. Police & Fire Championships: The 58th annual U.S. Police & Fire Championships is from May 31 to June 7 at San Diego Marriott Mission Valley, 8757 Rio San Diego Drive. The California Police Athletic Federation hosts the multisport Olympics-style competition with athletes from across the country representing law enforcement, firefighters, and officers from corrections, probation, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection. There will be more than 35 events, ranging from team sports such as basketball and soccer to individual competitions like track and field, swimming, and CrossFit. The event fosters camaraderie, physical fitness and community spirit among first responders from a wide variety of fields. Team fee is $80 through May 30 and $100 May 31 to June 7.
