The 'Bigg Boss 19' house finally has a captain, and it is none other than actor Kunickaa Sadanand. The episode, which aired on Friday, saw Tanya Mittal choosing the captain after a thrilling task. Did the task play a role in picking the captain? Not really. Was it an interesting watch? Definitely.
Along with the captaincy task, the episode also saw some fights, patch-ups, and even romance. Let's break down what exactly happened.
The captaincy race turned chaotic when Zeishan Quadri and Kunickaa got into a heated argument. Things escalated further when Abhishek Bajaj and Baseer Ali took off their shirts and were seen getting close to a physical fight. This also led to a few laughs as Amaal Mallik and Zeishan made fun of them. The task also saw arguments between Zeishan-Tanya and Nehal Chudasama-Abhishek.
In the end, Tanya justified Kunickaa's win by stating that the latter had been handling the house and egoistic people since day 1. She later also told Nagma that she wants to be a feminist and wants a woman to become the captain.
Soon after Kunickaa took charge, she decided to give Gaurav Khanna the duty of cooking breakfast/lunch. Gaurav, who recently won Celebrity MasterChef, shockingly refused. His reason? He doesn't know how to cook. He later settled for the duty of cleaning toilets with Zeishan.
The episode also saw the makers introducing a new room called the app room. The room would allow trending contestants to get access to good or bad apps, depending on whether they are trending for good reasons or bad. Farrhana Bhat, who was in the secret room, was given the power to choose a contestant who would get access. She chose Gaurav. Once inside the app room, Gaurav had two choices: either Farrhana's re-entry or half the groceries.
Thanks to Gaurav, Farrhana re-entered the house, but not without fireworks. 'Bigg Boss' revealed that Farrhana was inside the secret room and had stopped Baseer from participating in the captaincy task. This led to a huge fight between the duo.
The episode also saw Mridul admitting that he liked Natalia. He said they are complete opposites, but he likes talking to her. Natalia later called Mridul cute, which led the latter to blush. The episode also saw Mridul getting jealous after Baseer hugged Natalia.
