A Diddy accuser had to reveal her identity in order to continue her lawsuit against the music mogul, U.S. District Judge Jessica G. L. Clarke ruled, People reported.
Anna Kane, formerly the wife of NHL star Evander Kane, has come forward using her real name, according to a complaint filed Dec. 6 in Federal District Court in Manhattan. Formerly referred to as "Jane Doe," Kane agreed to be named in order to proceed with her allegations against Sean "Diddy" Combs in court, according to TMZ. Kane claimed she was just 17 years old when she was gang-raped by Diddy and his affiliates, according to TMZ.
"I had hoped to use a pseudonym in pursuing justice for what happened to me as a teenager," Kane wrote in her statement, according to TMZ.
"Defendants' demand that I use my name was an attempt to intimidate me, but I am not intimidated. I am prepared to proceed and hold accountable those who have harmed me."
Kane alleged she was in grade 11 when she was flown to see Diddy in a private jet. She claimed the rapper and two of his associates plied her with drugs and alcohol before sexually assaulting her, according to TMZ.
Kane also claimed Diddy took her into a bathroom and violated her while she was bent over a sink. She added she did not consent to having sex with him.
"As alleged in the complaint, Defendants preyed on a vulnerable high school teenager as part of a sex trafficking scheme that involved plying her with drugs and alcohol and transporting her by private jet to New York City where she was gang raped by the three individual defendants at Mr. Combs' studio," Kane's lawyer, Douglas H. Wigdor, said in a December 2023 statement, according to People.
"The depravity of these abhorrent acts has, not surprisingly, scarred our client for life," Wigdor said.
Diddy has denied the allegations made by Kane. (RELATED: Allegations Of Blood-Stained Sheets And Debauchery Emerge After Release Of Video Footage Reportedly From Diddy Party)
