Clare Cares Foundation has successfully concluded the 2025 edition of its flagship humanitarian initiative, Feed 1000, positively impacting more than 1,000 children and other residents in the Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State.

The annual outreach is designed to address food insecurity while creating a joyful and inclusive environment for vulnerable children and families. This year's event was marked by laughter, engaging activities, and overwhelming community support.

Children took part in dance competitions, spelling bee contests, sip-and-paint sessions, gospel song challenges, and the "King and Queen of Clare Cares" competition. The activities were carefully curated to entertain, build confidence, encourage creativity, and promote active participation.

Speaking on the project's success, the founder of the foundation, Clare Ezeakacha, described Feed 1000 as more than just a one-day event. She said, "What people see on event day is joy, laughter, and celebration. What they don't always see are the months of planning, coordination, sacrifice and love that go into making it happen.

Each year, funding and logistics remain major challenges, especially as the number of beneficiaries continues to grow. But the passion of our volunteers, the generosity of our partners, and the smiles of the children make it all worthwhile."

The event also marked the conclusion of the foundation's activities for the year, capping off a series of initiatives in education, healthcare, empowerment, and welfare.
