It will be cold, mild, wet, clear, windy, calm, sunny and cloudy over the coming days as December continues very unsettled and changing from hour to hour here on south coast.
We can expect low temps overnight - but also swings of up to 9C in nighttime temperatures between the early hours of Wednesday and Friday, with the possibility of frost and ice in some exposed areas. There could also be some heavy and persistent rain, although today and Thursday also look like they could bring some long sunny spells for much of Cork.
Looking towards the weekend, the uncertain, unsettled conditions will persist so the best advice is to be prepared for pretty much anything, including some bad conditions on morning commutes.
