A DAVENHAM care home is good in all areas after its latest inspection by the Care Quality Commission.
Davenham Hall Nursing Home received an overall rating from the inspector on Tuesday, October 14.
The care home is good in all five of the key questions, from 'Are services safe?' to 'Are services well-led?', the same as it was at its last inspection several years ago.
As a result it received the same as an overall rating, which is the second highest overall rating on a scale of inadequate to outstanding, in a big boost to the nursing home.
The recent report said: "This was a responsive assessment due to concerns the Care Quality Commission received regarding safe care and treatment.
"Issues during this assessment were immediately acted upon by the provider. This included window restrictors and work to the outside environment."
The Grade-II listed Georgian care home has space for 72 adult residents at its site on London Road. At the time of the inspection there were 62 adult residents who had additional needs including dementia.
Davenham Hall Nursing Home is one of a number of nursing homes across the North West, as well as the East Midlands and the West Midlands, which are a part of the family-run business SpringCare Ltd.
The care home did not respond to a request for comment from the Northwich and Winsford Guardian.
The Care Quality Commission is the inspector of health and social care providers across England.
It inspects five areas of health and social care provision on a scale of inadequate to outstanding.
