A tea room has achieved the highest possible food hygiene rating.
Honeyborough Tea Rooms, located at Neyland Garden Centre on Honeyborough Industrial Estate, was awarded a five-star food hygiene rating following an inspection on November 20.
The rating comes from the Food Standards Agency scheme, which assesses food businesses on hygienic food handling, cleanliness and condition of facilities and buildings, and management of food safety.
Inspectors rated the tea room as "Very good" in all categories including food handling, cleanliness, and management.
The rating covers key areas such as preparation, cooking, re-heating, cooling, and storage of food.
It also includes pest control and handwashing facilities.
Management checks and staff knowledge of food safety procedures were also rated "Very good".
