Frank Lampard has been named the Championship manager of the month for the second month in a row after leading Coventry City through an unbeaten November that produced maximum points.
Coventry recorded five straight wins during the month, a run that left them sitting five points clear at the summit of the table. The club's recent form has continued to attract attention as Lampard builds momentum at the Sky Blues.
"We got some fantastic results throughout November and I would like to thank all the players, staff and everyone involved for their continued hard work.
"We have a great togetherness and team spirit here and we're all looking forward to the busy Christmas period and continuing our hard work."
Coventry also celebrated on the player awards front, with forward Ellis Simms being chosen as player of the month. His goal form in November was decisive in the club's charge up the table.
Simms struck five times in just three starts during November, including braces in the victories over Middlesbrough and Charlton. That purple patch has taken his season total to eight goals in all competitions.
"This was only possible because of my team-mates and the staff pushing standards every day," said Simms.
"Individual awards come from team performances, and the results we've had make this extra special.
"I'll take the confidence from it and keep giving everything for the club and the fans."
Several other managers were shortlisted for the monthly accolade, including Birmingham's Chris Davies, Tonda Eckert of Southampton and Derby boss John Eustace.
On the player shortlist, Simms prevailed ahead of Derby striker Carlton Morris, Hull City's Joe Gelhardt and Birmingham full-back Alex Cochrane.
The back-to-back recognition for Lampard and another individual award for a Coventry player underline the club's strong momentum. With the festive fixture schedule approaching, the team will aim to maintain its consistency and defend its lead at the top of the Championship table.
