The Hawaii women's volleyball team notched three weekly conference honors on Monday, one day after winning the Outrigger Invitational.
Freshman Cha'lei Reid, who was named the tournament's most outstanding player, followed that up with a Big West Offensive Player of the Week honor.
The 6-foot outside hitter, who prepped at Kahuku, had 50 kills and 10 aces in 11 sets played. She had six aces in Sunday's sweep of St. John's after going for a career-high 26 kills in Thursday's five-set loss to San Jose State.
She leads the conference and ranks 31st nationally averaging 0.68 aces per set.
Senior middle blocker Bri Gunderson, who averaged 1.64 blocks and 2.36 kills per set in the tournament, was named the Big West Defensive Player of the Week.
Gunderson, who had a season-high nine blocks in the win over Utah Valley on Friday, leads the conference and ranks 37th in NCAA Division I with an average of 1.43 blocks per set.
She also had seven aces in three matches.
Sophomore Adrianna Arquette earned her first Big West Setter of the Week award after she averaged 10.27 assists per set in the tournament.
She tied a season high with 49 assists and 14 digs against the Spartans and was also in on six blocks with five aces in the tournament.
Hawaii ranks 13th in the nation as a team with 2.32 aces per set.
"I think we've been serving a lot. After we finish a drill we will go back and serve," Hawaii coach Robyn Ah Mow said after Sunday's win. "It's just an important thing for us."
The Rainbow Wahine (2-4), who have won eight of their past nine sets played, host Portland for matches on Thursday and Friday at Bankoh Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.
