Jagan to begin YCP revival attempt through 'Chalo Pinnelli' in Palnadu district - Andhrawatch.com

Former Chief Minister and YCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy has been moving cautiously to revive YCP, whose cadre was demoralized after last year's elections, through public outreach programmes. Though he had earlier announced that soon he will take up district-wise tours to boost morale of the party cadre, he is mostly confined to his palaces.

Now, he is confident that the coalition government is losing its image among people due to its failure of implementing its election promises of 'Super Six'. Sensing that it will be a good time to go to the people exposing the government's failure, the former chief minister has decided to initiate his activity from Palnadu district through 'Chalo Pinnelli' village activity.

Despite the disappointment in the YSRCP cadre after the 2024 election results, Jagan is moving forward strategically to make the party strong again. In this context, Jagan has already called for several protest programs. Now, he has decided to directly enter the field and organize programs to listen to the problems of the people.

He is formulating a strategy to meet the people through district visits and highlight the government's failures. Jagan, who announced that his tour of the districts will begin after Ugadi, will first start the movement with Palnadu district as his main center.

It is known that Palnadu district has always been a center of political sensation. Although the YSRCP made a clean sweep in this district in the 2019 elections, it faced a complete defeat in 2024. In this context, Jagan is now devising various strategies to make a comeback there again.

Recently, the villagers of Pinnelli, Machavaram mandal in Gurajala constituency met Jagan, which became politically interesting. The villagers explained to Jagan that the YSRCP workers in the village, BC communities, were expelled from the village as soon as the coalition government came to power. They said that the legal battle on this issue is ongoing and they asked the party to stand by them.

Jagan responded strongly to this and gave full support to the party's victim families, assuring them that none of the YSRCP workers are alone. He made it clear that his party will always be at the forefront of solving public problems. Jagan himself decided to enter the village along with the victims and launch a public movement against the government.

As part of this, he announced that he would soon organize the "Chalo Pinnelli" program. Along with the party ranks, he will go to Pinnelli village along with the victim families and inspect the situation there. Jagan will also conduct tours in the Palnadu region as well as in the villages of Turakapalem, Madenapadu and Chennaipalem. This decision is increasing the enthusiasm in the party ranks.
