A Transport for London Oyster tip has emerged that could help commuters claim refunds on their travel costs.
Most Londoners have experienced the frustration of tapping in and out with different bank cards on the Tube, or completely forgetting to tap their Oyster card at all.
If this rings true for you, then you'll want to know about this handy trick that might secure you some money back.
TikToker Adaeza Ashley has demonstrated to her followers a straightforward technique for discovering how much they could be owed. The first step involves signing into your Oyster account via any web browser.
Then, you'll want to select your name at the top of the screen, which will show any contactless payment cards registered to your account. At this point, you should register every debit or credit card you've ever used for contactless payments on the TfL network.
Once you've registered your cards, the website will flag up any incomplete journeys you've made. For each incomplete journey, simply enter where your trip began or ended.
TfL will then work out and tell you the refund amount you're due.
The TikToker, well-known for sharing advice on health and money matters, concluded her tutorial by disclosing she had reclaimed £100 after reporting her incomplete journeys.
She hinted that others might find they're owed even more.
"Please, don't scroll past this video," urged Adaeza, "Follow the steps, TfL might owe you £100, you never know."
