ISRO set to launch India's heaviest communication satellite CMS-03 today; Check launch time, will be used...

New Delhi: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is launching its heaviest-ever communication satellite today. Its name is CMS-03, and it weighs more than 4,410 kilograms. Apart from being a satellite, it will give an extensive range of the ocean regions that surround India. In addition, it will offer major ties in several terrestrial and maritime-related functions. The satellite will be launched today, i.e., November 2, 2025, at 5:26 PM IST at Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota. This will prove as a fundamental step for the country's space mission goals and will be placed in Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO).

The rocket LVM3-M5, also known as 'Bahubali', will carry the CMS-03 satellite. The CMS-03 is the heaviest-ever communication satellite of India. It weighs more than 4,410 kilograms, and will be placed in the region of Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO), marking its importance for the nation. The rocket is 43.5 meters tall, consisting S200 solid rocket boosters, L110 liquid core stage, and C25 cryogenic upper stage.

The rocket liftoff consisting CMS-03 satellite will take place on Sunday, i.e., November 2 at 5:26 PM. The launch station for the mission is Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota with its target orbit as Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO). The live coverage of the event will be telecasted on the official social media handles, website, and YouTube of the ISRO.
