Dominican driver Jimmy Llibre is making history in international motorsports by becoming the first Dominican PRO driver to compete at the legendary 12 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps from September 3-6. This prestigious European endurance race marks a major milestone in Llibre's career, following his recent victory in the Porsche Carrera Cup North America.
Llibre will race with Baskoeten Racing alongside teammates Pedro Torres, Alex Pratt, and Marco Cirone in a Porsche 911 992 GT3 Cup car. "I'm proud to represent my country in such a high-level race. This is not only a personal achievement but a historic step for motorsports in the Dominican Republic," Llibre said.
His participation highlights Dominican talent on the global stage and is supported by sponsors including Banreservas, Baldom, Arroz Campos, the Ministry of Tourism, Mobil 1, and Porsche Center Santo Domingo. Llibre continues to demonstrate that Dominicans can compete and excel in the world's most demanding motorsports leagues.
