More than £120,000 has been donated to charities by the operator of the Tyne Tunnels over the last year.
The company behind the tunnels, TT2, has supported a wide range of good causes, including cancer care, animal charities, and organisations helping vulnerable people.
A total of £12,000 was donated as part of TT2's 12 Days of Christmas campaign, with £1,000 given to a different charity each day.

Shaun Simmons, chief operating officer at TT2, said: "All of these charities are personally chosen by people in our 130-strong team.
"We are a strong community partner and really glad to be able to support these local charities who do a wonderful job of helping people, and animals, in need."
The most recent donations included £1,000 each to organisations including Maggie's Cancer Care.
Other beneficiaries included Pathways4All, Children's Cancer North, the North East Autism Society, Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter, Daft as a Brush, People's Kitchen, and Wag & Co.
The company also donated funds to Women's Aid, Feeding Families, and Breast Cancer Now.
The 12 Days of Christmas campaign came at the end of a year in which TT2's community giving reached a total of £120,559.
Much of this came through the Tyne Tunnels Community Fund, which awarded more than £105,000 to charitable causes in 2025.
TT2, which employs more than 120 people at its Wallsend office, also contributed more than 330 hours of staff volunteering during the year.
The donations highlight the company's commitment to supporting communities across the North East through financial contributions, staff involvement, and ongoing partnerships with local organisations.
