Leighton Livengood has only been a Fort Vancouver Trapper since November, but already is a seasoned veteran when it comes to knowing the school's blueprint.
With the exception of a northwest corridor near the commons, the junior knows his way around the school.
"Everywhere else," the 6-foot-6 junior said, "I've been to."
Pretty impressive for a 6-foot-6 player who relocated to Vancouver two months into the 2024-25 school year. He previously attended Gresham (Ore.) High, where he was expected to see significant jump in minutes and scoring in his second season of varsity basketball.
Now, he's an all-league player at a new school in a new city and has gained more notoriety over the past week since the Trappers (17-7) clinched the program's first state berth in boys basketball since 1990.
