JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (WSIL) -- Missouri Governor Mike Parson recently granted pardons to sixteen people and nine commutations.
This coming before he leaves office which is scheduled to take place on January 13 when Governor-elect Mike Kehoe will then take over.
Along with the pardons, Governor Parson also denied 23 clemency petitions.
Since Parson was sworn into office, he has taken action on nearly 4,000 clemency petitions.
