AJ Lee shared an interesting message following her WarGames debut at WWE Survivor Series 2025. The former champion teamed up with Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, IYO SKY, and Rhea Ripley to battle Becky Lynch, Nia Jax, Lash Legend, and The Kabuki Warriors in the Women's WarGames match at the PLE last night.
Lee tapped out Lynch with the Black Widow submission to win the Women's WarGames match at Survivor Series. She took to Instagram following her WarGames debut and gave her team a nickname. Lee referred to her squad as The Avengers, and you can check it out in her post below.
"Tell your kids these were the avengers," she wrote.
Becky Lynch has been accusing the promotion of corruption since she lost the Women's Intercontinental Championship to Maxxine Dupri earlier this month on RAW. Lee provided a distraction during the match, and Dupri capitalized to capture her first title as a WWE Superstar. Big Time Becks demanded that referee Jessika Carr be suspended following Survivor Series.

AJ Lee returned to WWE earlier this year after a decade away and teamed up with her husband, CM Punk, to defeat Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins in a mixed tag team match at Wrestlepalooza 2025. In an interview with Stephanie McMahon on her What's Your Story? podcast, Lee shared that he wanted to compete in WarGames because of the talent involved in the match.
"Part of the appeal in 'ok let's keep doing this' is that group of women. I'm a fan of all of them, I'll be so happy to just be surrounded by them and get to work with them, to just kind of like hang out with them in that type of way, (of) ok trust this group.
