Mustang Thunder is priced at Rs 7,999 (MRP) and is available at a special introductory price of Rs 2,499
GoBoult, formerly known as Boult, has introduced Mustang Thunder as part of its ongoing partnership with the automotive brand Mustang. The product marks the next phase in the company's premiumisation strategy and is positioned to contribute approximately 15 per cent of GoBoult's revenue in the third quarter of FY26. The company expects this share to grow to 25 per cent by FY27 as it expands the Mustang series across categories.
Mustang Thunder is priced at Rs 7,999 (MRP) and is available at a special introductory price of Rs 2,499, with a market operating price of Rs 2,999. It is available for purchase on Flipkart, Amazon and Myntra starting 16 November 2025. The product features 40mm bass drivers, 70-hour battery life with fast charging, environmental noise cancellation, low latency mode, Bluetooth 5.4, and IPX5 water resistance. It also includes dynamic LED breathing lights with the Mustang pony logo and is offered in a silver-on-black colour variant.
The Mustang series builds on the consumer response to the first edition, which saw rapid sell-through. GoBoult is transitioning the series from limited editions to a sustained premium line that will include headphones, smartwatches and select true wireless stereo (TWS) products. The company reports that over 65 per cent of its current portfolio meets its premium criteria in terms of design, finish and user experience.
The rebrand from Boult to GoBoult has supported this shift, with early indicators showing increased brand searches, improved engagement and steady growth in conversions. Offline retail coverage has expanded to over 12,000 stores, contributing nearly 20 per cent of revenue. The company aims to reach more than 30,000 stores by FY26.
Following Mustang Thunder, GoBoult plans to introduce Mustang-branded smartwatches and special-edition TWS products. The company expects the premium portfolio to gain further traction as it scales retail presence and broadens category offerings.
