"If someone tells me I was wrong or did this or that wrong, I say, 'Well, you know what? It doesn't matter. Beyoncé gave me this...'"
Miley Cyrus meant it when she sang "I'll be your shotgun rider / 'til the day I die."
Back in March 2024, Beyoncé recruited the Disney alum to feature on her Cowboy Carter track "II Most Wanted," which ended up winning the Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance the following year.
This song marked the first time that Cyrus and Beyoncé had ever collaborated together, and to make it even more special, the Hannah Montana alum joined Queen Bey on stage during her Cowboy Carter Tour this past summer, where they performed the song at a concert stop in Paris.
At the show, Beyoncé called herself Cyrus's "biggest fan," going on to say: "I love you and I'm so grateful to watch you and to sing with you Ms. Miley Cyrus."
Turns out, Cyrus is equally obsessed, and there's one gift she received from the Cécred founder that still holds a special place for her.
In a new cover story for Vogue France, Cyrus was asked about her performance with Bey last June, to which she said: "It was amazing. Beyoncé is definitely the best, period."
Cyrus then revealed she got a gift from the singer, presumably around the time that they recorded their duet. "She gave me a bracelet that I never take off," Cyrus said. "And trust me, I know how to use it when I need to. If someone tells me I was wrong or did this or that wrong, I say, 'Well, you know what? It doesn't matter. Beyoncé gave me this bracelet -- look!'"
The "Secrets" singer has been a fan of the former Destiny's Child member for quite some time. In fact, earlier this year, a video resurfaced from the 2006 American Music Awards, where Cyrus was captured singing Beyoncé's praises. "I'm excited to see Beyoncé be here," she said. "She's like my big role model, so it's really cool to see her."
To a different interviewer on the same red carpet, Cyrus said: "My mom's always telling me, 'What would Beyoncé do?' So I am excited to meet her tonight."
