Bears superfan Seth Rollins roots for the Vikings in Netflix's NFC North Christmas game

Netflix's Christmas NFL tripleheader is set to bring playoff drama to holiday living rooms, and Chicago Bears superfan Seth Rollins wants one specific present under the tree: a Minnesota win.

The WWE champion and longtime Bears loyalist confirmed he'll temporarily switch allegiances for the Vikings-Lions matchup streaming on Netflix Christmas night. His reasoning is simple: help Chicago clinch a playoff spot and reduce Detroit's late-season leverage heading into Week 18.

While Rollins and his wife, WWE icon Becky Lynch, don't exchange Christmas gifts, a conscious decision they say removes the "pressure" of gifting, the wrestler joked that a Vikings upset would be the ideal surprise.

Chicago's postseason hopes received a jolt after a thrilling comeback victory over the Green Bay Packers, one that sent Rollins into full celebration mode Saturday night. If Detroit loses Sunday to Pittsburgh, the Bears will officially clinch a playoff berth.

The dream scenario for Rollins? Chicago is entering Week 18 already locked into the postseason, with a chance to knock Detroit out. But he knows the Vikings have a tough climb on the road.

But Brian Flores' defense is legit, and if J.J. McCarthy is on, that team can be dangerous.

When asked what memorable gifts they've exchanged, Rollins laughed.

This is easy-we don't do Christmas presents.

The couple made that decision early in their relationship. Lynch noted that taking out gifting expectations has been "great," while Rollins added that avoiding shopping for each other removes unnecessary stress.

By not doing gifts, that pressure is gone. Less clutter, too. If we want something, we get it ourselves.

Despite avoiding traditional holiday gifting, Rollins insists the choice stems from thoughtfulness, protecting each other from emotional and financial pressure.

Their relationship also bleeds into football fandom. Lynch is remarkably confident in Chicago's postseason outlook, declaring the Bears are headed to Super Bowl LX. Rollins teased that she's fully convinced they'll perform the "Super Bowl Shuffle" once again.

The couple had fun assigning their NFL equivalents: Lynch chose Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson for herself, and Rollins picked reigning MVP Josh Allen.

The WWE star will appear on Netflix's Christmas broadcast, offering commentary and breakdowns throughout the Vikings-Lions matchup.

I'm gonna be breaking down the game," he said. "Talking about what's good, what's bad... I love watching football and I'm excited to add color to the broadcast.

Rollins remains sidelined with an injury, and Lynch is preparing for her acting role in Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, making this Christmas appearance possibly their final major television moment of 2025.
