The Village Barbershop and UPS Store are both leaving Highland Park Village this month.
The Village Barbershop will close its doors on Dec. 31. The UPS Store had its last day of business on Dec. 20.
The Village plans to make necessary improvements to the building which housed both businesses. At the work's completion, their space will be reimagined for office occupancy, explained Highland Park Village chief marketing officer Victoria Snee.
While two barbershop employees are moving to Preston Towers, owner Dale Sinclair will not go with them. He plans to retire after 53 years of cutting hair in the Park Cities.
Park Cities People stopped by the afternoon of Dec. 19 for some of Sinclair's final cuts. Read more about the Village Barbershop and Dale Sinclair in our February issue.
