[PICS] Elias Pettersson's wife Katelyn celebrates her 31st birthday alongside launch of her Swedish-inspired chocolate brand

Last week, Vancouver Canucks forward Elias Pettersson's wife Katelyn Byrd Pettersson celebrated her 31st birthday while continuing the rollout of her Swedish-inspired candy brand Swete, which had just launched at Rogers Arena a few says ago.

On Monday, she shared a carousel of pictures from the celebratory evening and photoshoot on her Instagram.

"Last weeks celebration of @swetetreat launching at Rogers Arena & my bday 🤍🥹 thank you to everyone who came to celebrate ✨ feels so dreamy 🎂🤍," Katleyn captioned the post.

One of the pics showed Katelyn in a shimmering pale-blue dress seated at a table covered with sweets posing beside a tall white cake decorated with cherries and surrounded by Swete's pastel-coloured candy bags and chocolate packages.

Other shots featured scattered gummies, classic Swedish treats, bright wrappers, flowers and branded Swete items arranged almost like a chaotic candy installation. One frame captured her holding a striped candy stick while a customized menu titled "Katelyn's Swete Birthday" sat beside her plate printed in Swete's chocolate-bar design.

Katelyn is an American model and entrepreneur who previously worked in real estate and investing before shifting focus to building her own brand. She got married to the Vancouver Canucks star earlier this year during a private Midsummer ceremony in Sweden.

Earlier last weekend, Elias Pettersson's wife Katelyn shared a behind-the-scenes look at a milestone moment for Swete. She posted a candid YouTube vlog documenting the first day of official in-arena sales opening up about the long-planned dream that has now become her first major entrepreneurial venture.

In the vlog, Katelyn spoke about her desire to build something entirely her own describing Swete as a passion project she has developed from scratch.

"I always have wanted to start a company, so I made sure that I started it myself. It's a one-man show right now so I'm very overwhelmed, but it's so worth it and I'm learning so much," she said.

Katelyn confirmed that Swete will now be available at every Canucks home game with an online release on the way.

The weekend also doubled as a personal celebration for the couple. Katelyn surprised Elias Pettersson with a cinnamon-roll birthday cake as they marked his 27th birthday one day early before both were scheduled to fly out on the actual date.
