(WJW) -- Holding on to the heat and humidity this evening with temperatures slowly falling back from the upper 80s to the low 80s. It'll feel about 5 degrees warmer with the added humidity.
Warm and muggy night as temperatures eventually fall into the low 70s. It'll still feel a bit warmer with the higher humidity. Mostly clear and quiet.
Even warmer Sunday! Temperatures will quickly climb into the low 90s Sunday afternoon. The humidity will make it feel like the mid-90s during the day. Make sure you are checking in and staying cool during the heat of the day! Another day of sunshine and quiet weather.
Do not forget the Fox 8 Fox Trot is this Sunday! It is being held at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Sunday morning looks warm and muggy. Temperatures will quickly warm through the 70s during the walk and run.
Sunday will be a touch hotter! Highs on Sunday will be near 90 degrees. The high humidity levels will likely put heat indices in the lower to mid-90s on Sunday afternoon. The heat we are expecting this weekend is nothing we cannot handle for early August.
With high pressure in control, this weekend is going to be dry.
It has been a dry start to August - not even a trace of rain has been recorded in Cleveland this month. Friday was the 8th straight day without rain, which is the longest stretch of dry weather so far this year. This stretch of dry weather will likely reach 10 plus days.
The next chance of significant opportunity for rain will come towards the middle of next week when a cold front moves through the region.
