Mom to Mom - Pumpkin Snowman - WDEF

Mom to Mom - Pumpkin Snowman - WDEF

Today on Mom to Mom, we are making snowman pumpkins!

If you still have some pumpkins left over from Halloween or Thanksgiving that have not been carved, believe it or not, pumpkins do last for up to three months! So what we're going to do are create snowmen out of these pumpkins, so we don't have to waste them!

First, you'll want to take two pumpkins, one bigger than the other, and paint them both white. I recommend spray paint. It's the quickest and easiest way to go, but you can use acrylic paint as well. I also have a hat and a scarf that I got off Amazon, but you can find them at a craft store or even create your own! You'll also need some puff paint and some sharpies.

Now that the pumpkins are painted, hot glue your hat onto the smallest pumpkin. Then you are going to either use your puff paint or a Sharpie to do some eyes on the snowman. Then you are going to do a nose and a mouth. Just have fun with it! Then, paint some buttons on the front of the bigger snowman. Stick the smaller pumpkin on top of the bigger pumpkin as the head, tie the scarf on, and you have the cutest little snowman pumpkin for the holidays!

It's a great way to repurpose these pumpkins, that way you don't want to throw 'em away. You can just reuse them.

Hopefully, you love this idea as much as we do. If you have any wonderful ideas using pumpkins, or just for Christmas in general, we'd love to hear about it. You can message us up on our Facebook page and we'll see you on the next Mom to Mom.
