Srinagar, Dec 23: The Higher Education Department of Jammu and Kashmir has announced winter vacations for all government degree colleges across the Union Territory.
According to an official order issued by the Additional Chief Secretary, Shantmantu said that all government degree colleges located in the winter zones of the Kashmir Division and the Jammu Division will observe winter vacations from December 24, 2025, to February 14, 2026 .
Meanwhile, government degree colleges in the Jammu Division falling under the summer zone will remain closed for winter vacations from January 1, 2026, to February 10, 2026 .
The order, issued in the interest of administration, has come into effect with immediate effect.
