The Broad Sets Yoko Ono's First SoCal Solo Exhibition 'Yoko Ono: Music of the Mind' for 2026

The 35th annual Gotham Awards kick off the fall awards season in New York City on Monday night with 40 feature films and 25 performances nominated in ten award categories for outstanding and breakthrough performances and films, director, and screenplay.

The gala is taking place at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City, and attendees and nominees on the red carpet included Adam Sandler, Ryan Coogler, Elle Fanning, Renate Reinsve, Sutton Foster, Felicity Jones, Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas, Naomi Watts, Imogen Poots, and many more.

Leading the nominations is One Battle After Another, securing six nominations, including recognition for Best Feature, Best Director for Paul Thomas Anderson, and multiple Outstanding Supporting Performance nominations. Mary Bronstein's If I Had Legs I'd Kick You follows with four nominations, while It Was Just an Accident and No Other Choice are each earned three nominations.

Best Feature nominations include Bugonia; East of Wall; Familiar Touch; Hamnet; If I Had Legs I'd Kick You; Lurker; Sorry, Baby; The Testament of Ann Lee; and Train Dreams, while performance nominations include Jessie Buckley, Lee Byung-hun, Rose Byrne, Sopé Dìrísù, Ethan Hawke, Jennifer Lawrence, Wagner Moura, Josh O'Connor, Amanda Seyfried, Tessa Thompson, Benicio Del Toro, Jacob Elordi, Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas, Indya Moore, Wunmi Mosaku, Adam Sandler, Andrew Scott, Alexander Skarsgård, Stellan Skarsgård, and Teyana Taylor.

The Gotham will also present a series of tributes during the ceremony. Kate Hudson and Hugh Jackman will receive the inaugural Gotham Musical Tribute for Song Sung Blue, Noah Baumbach will receive the Director Tribute for Jay Kelly, Tessa Thompson will receive the Spotlight Tribute for Hedda, the cast of Sinners will receive the Ensemble Tribute, Frankenstein will receive the Vanguard Tribute, Jeremy Allen White and Scott Cooper will receive the Cultural Icon Tribute for Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere, and Luca Guadagnino and Julia Roberts will receive the Visionary Tribute for After the Hunt at the 35th Annual Gotham Film Awards.
