BAPE is likely a brand you associate more with sweltering city streets in the peak of the "campout era," but as the brand forges ahead and further expands their catalog, they're looking to change that. For the first time BAPE, with the stated help of creative director Kazuki Kuraishi, are headed into the snowy, taking on winter sports with an upcoming capsule.

On the footwear end of things, the start of the show is the BAPE Shark STA, already a rather young member of the family and one clearly aimed at giving the Japanese heritage brand a representative in the throwback running space. Despite its short lifespan to date, A Bathing Ape is already getting experimental, retrofitting the mesh/suede arrangement with a more weather-tested one, replete with graphic waterproofing, ripstop underpinnings, and an outdoorsy pull closure. Fit for that harsher wear, two neutral colorways of dark grey and deep brown define this fresh build.

Of course, BAPE's offerings for this extend beyond the foot, comprised of genuine pack gear with backpacks and neoprene jackets. In what may be the biggest draw, fur-lined hoodies with a bloodshot update to the iconic SHARK hoodie make up the traditional end of this delivery.

Drop 1 of the Kazuki Huraishi x BAPE Winter 2025 collection lands on November 8th, including the Shark Sta, before Drop 3 arrives on the 22nd.
