UNCASVILLE, Conn. (AP) -- Robert Smith had 16 points in Delaware State's 73-60 victory over Grambling on Thursday night.
Smith added five rebounds for the Hornets (6-6). Martez Robinson added 15 points while shooting 5 for 12, including 4 for 5 from beyond the arc while he also had six rebounds. Muneer Newton shot 6 of 8 from the field to finish with 13 points.
James Flippin led the Tigers (2-8) in scoring, finishing with 14 points and six rebounds. Grambling also got 11 points and two steals from P.J. Eason.
