After a rockstar rookie season from C.J. Stroud and a busy offseason, it's surprising that the Texans are in a divisional race with the Colts at this point of the season.
Houston is 8-5 and won both games against the Colts this year, but it's still closer than expected. The Colts are 6-7 with four games remaining for both AFC South squads. It's likely that only one will make the playoffs, which favors the Texans who have the divisional lead.
Nonetheless, the Texans have a tough road ahead with games against the Dolphins, Chiefs, Ravens and Titans. The Colts play against the Broncos, Titans, Giants and Jaguars.
A lot needs to go wrong for the Texans and a lot needs to go right for the Colts, but the race is closer than it may portray. Luckily, both teams get a bye in Week 14 to prepare for the final stretch.
