Exiles Interactives, a Bengaluru-based gaming startup, has raised USD 355,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by Chimera VC, with participation from Warmup Ventures, IndigoEdge, angel investor Dhruv Vohra, and existing shareholder Sourav Gupta.
The funding will be used to develop Centarius, the company's upcoming social gameplay platform, and to strengthen its marketing initiatives ahead of launch.
Centarius operates entirely within a web browser, enabling cross-device access and social gameplay without requiring downloads or native app installations. The platform features a curated selection of mid-core titles across genres, integrating social and competitive elements designed to enhance player engagement and retention.
In addition to serving players, Centarius also acts as a discovery and distribution platform for independent developers from browser, PC, console, and mobile ecosystems. It aims to provide developers with a broader reach, bypassing the restrictions often found in traditional native gaming platforms.
Exiles Interactives plans to collaborate with gaming content creators on TikTok, Twitch, and YouTube to expand its user base. The company also intends to build brand visibility by engaging with gaming communities and participating in global game development events.
