PROTESTERS RALLY AT REP. EDWARDS'S OWNED MCDONALD'S OVER VOTE ON SNAP, HEALTHCARE
Just one day before Edwards's reelection bid announcement, a group of protestors gathered in Hendersonville at a McDonald's location owned by Edwards.
Demonstrators on Nov. 30 said their decision to protest was rooted in Edwards's recent vote on Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits and healthcare.
Protest organizers said this was not the first time demonstrators had shown up at restaurants owned by the congressman.
