Your Saturday, Nov. 29 Guide: Things to do in Casper today

CASPER, Wyo. -- November is officially here, and with it comes a month of reflection, of gratitude and of many events and activities happening throughout Casper. From book clubs to movies, writing clubs, games, crafts, parades, tree-lighting ceremonies and so much more, November has a variety of events happening every single day, all month long. This is what's happening in November.

Thanksgiving has passed which can only mean one thing - -it's Christmas time! The weather outside may be frightful, but one of the most delightful things about this time of year is the annual David Street Station Community Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. The lighting is happening Saturday night, beginning at 6 p.m., though you way want to get there early to mingle, jingle, and maybe meet Kris Kringle.

"Join us as we come together to celebrate the magic of the season at our annual Community Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony!" the event page states. "On November 29th at 6 p.m., bring your friends and family to David Street Station's ice rink for some holiday spirit!" The event is free for the community and it's the perfect start to the Christmas season.
