A man has denied murdering Lostprophets lead singer and convicted sex offender Ian Watkins at HMP Wakefield last month.
Watkins was serving a 29-year sentence at the prison, infamously known as "Monster Mansion", after being found guilty of severe child sex offences, including attempted rape of an infant.
The shamed vocalist was arrested following the execution of a drugs warrant at his Pontypridd residence on 21 September 2012, when a significant number of computers, mobile phones and storage devices were confiscated.
Analysis of these devices revealed Watkins' depraved actions.
Rashid Gedel, 25 - also known as Rico Gedel - and Samuel Dodsworth, 43, are facing murder charges over the alleged assault on 11 October this year.

Emergency services were dispatched to the West Yorkshire prison but the disgraced rock star Watkins, 48, was declared dead at the scene.
Dodsworth appeared via a video link from HMP Wakefield for a plea, trial and preparation hearing at Leeds Crown Court on Wednesday. However, Gedel declined to attend, with the court informed that he believed he would be produced in person, reports Yorkshire Live.
Pleas were taken from Dodsworth, who responded "not guilty" when charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon inside a prison on 11 October. Recorder of Leeds Judge Guy Kearl announced that a further hearing had been scheduled for 2 December.
A trial, expected to extend over two weeks, is set to commence on 5 May next year.
